The New Media and Society Group is a working group within the Department of Communication at Cornell University, comprised of scholars interested in considering new media technologies through a critical lens. Led by Professors Tarleton Gillespie and Lee Humphreys, the group meets on a regular basis throughout the semester. Each meeting is led by one scholar, presenting a current research project for feedback and discussion.
